GFS Testbench EL1-L – Industry-Grade Platform for Electrolysis Research
The EL1-L is a high-performance testing solution for the development and validation of PEM, AEM, and AEL electrolysis stacks up to 50 kW. It enables fully automated long-term operation, including dynamic load cycling, and delivers precise, reproducible test data.
With iron-free media and gas pathways and automatic media refilling, the system supports maintenance-free continuous operation – ideal for industrial R&D environments.
The EL1-L is built upon a modular base configuration and tailored specifically to its intended application. During an initial consultation, we are defining a detailed performance profile based on individual requirements. This forms the foundation for a comprehensive technical proposal, which outlines the customized system design and functional scope.

Our in-house developed test bench software "CellFlow" covers the entire spectrum of sophisticated cell testing. From a user-friendly interface with live graphs that allows seamless manual control of all measurement parameters to fully automated scripts that ensure unmanned operation of the test bench over days, weeks, and months.
And not to forget, intelligent data analysis for the visual evaluation of your measurement data is also part of this powerful software solution.
